Multisite inspiration
On this page, we show several inspiring examples of multisite content experiences created with Plate CMS. It shows the versatility and flexibility of the Content Management Platform. Of course, these are just a few highlights. More than 1,000 unique experiences have been created on the Plate Content Management platform.
SGP Jongeren
SGPJ, a youth political organization in the Netherlands, was facing a major obstacle with their outdated website. Their website was built on WordPress and required a select few volunteers with specialized knowledge to maintain it.
Thankfully, in 2022, Plate stepped in to provide SGPJ with a solution to their website woes. By migrating their website from WordPress to Plate, and setting up an efficient multisite solution, local committees within SGPJ can now easily create and manage their own sub-sites.
This solution not only frees up valuable resources for SGPJ, but also ensures that their website is always up-to-date and user-friendly. With the help of Plate, SGPJ can now focus on their core mission of engaging and educating young people on political issues, without having to worry about the technicalities of their website.
KS Industries
KS Industries is an internationally operating group of companies within the steel sector. KS Industries uses Plate as an intelligent multisite with which they independently create and populate multiple websites with content. New features and updates are rolled out centrally for all sites. Comprehensive access management allows the various content editors at the companies to specifically access their website or parts of the website.
Stichting Leergeld
For Stichting Leergeld, we handled the complete implementation of the Multisite. More than 60 individual associations now have a website covered by Stichting Leergeld. Stichting Leergeld's websites are usually managed by volunteers, including seniors, so Plate's ease of use was decisive. In addition, Stichting Leergeld can independently add new websites should new sites open.
Digital school guide NUOVO
NUOVO Scholen is an umbrella brand for 15 secondary schools in the Utrecht region. Since 2018, this school group has been running on a Multisite by Plate, and in 2021 we also rolled out a digital school guide. The Content Editors share content on the website as well as in the school guide. The school guide has an automatic PDF generator so parents of students can still read a printable PDF.
4M
Since 2021, Plate has functioned as 4M's "multi-portal" environment. 4M is a collective brand for a number of underlying labels fighting against injustice in the world. Through a sports label, a business label, a women's label and a men's label, the websites are used to communicate with target audiences.
All websites are centrally integrated with Salesforce and the 2000 members of 4M log into their own portal environment from which all information is retrieved directly from Salesforce. All information updated in the portal is updated directly in Salesforce.
Bunzl
Bunzl is a British distribution multinational. We have developed a multisite for all the labels of Bunzl Netherlands in which the labels can use their own house style within the Bunzl standards. So all sites are decentralized but the vacancies of Bunzl Netherlands are set up centrally because they are marketed and filled centrally. This is an example of the flexible setup of the Plate Content Platform.
Plate's biggest selling point for Bunzl was its rapid re-implementation. The previous CMS had to be retired for security reasons and the re-implementation was urgent. Because Plate could offer the multisite features 'out of the box', all websites were live within 3 months.
9altitudes
9altitudes is an international software company. It was chosen to give the 6 different countries within one domain their own look and feel with the ability to exchange content between countries. If a content campaign is successful in Denmark, it can be moved to the French environment with the click of a button. Integrations are also managed centrally, reducing costs.
Horeca Handboek
Horeca Handbook is using Plate to roll out a Progressive Web App (PWA). The goal of the app is to centralize the hospitality business in one convenient app. Think manuals, instructions, procedures, recipes, knowledge, tests and more. Normally, native app development is costly, as separate development and maintenance costs must be incurred for both Android and iOS. PWA technology offers businesses and organizations an alternative to interact with customers through an app at a fraction of the development cost for a native app.
