Multi Site dashboard
When you use Plate as your multisite CMS we offer you a dashboard to centrally manage your companies / labels, themes and websites. The access to your environment is optionally secured with Two-Factor authentication as an extra layer of security.
With Access Control as a key feature on your multisite dashboard you can define the roles and rights of users within your organization.

Because Plate is built for the specific Multi Site use-case we’ve developed and optimized our whole infrastructure and framework for it. This sets us apart from the competition. You can add and edit features and integrations on the main theme and push this to the individual websites (or exclude some updates for certain websites).
This layered approach makes Plate super flexible to all sorts of Multi Site applications, whether you want multiple country websites on one platform or a website per country or label, we’ve seen it all.
Own domain and White Label CMS
With Plate it is possible to run a Multi Site on your own domain and even White Label the backend. This is beneficial if you for example are offering websites to customers in a certain niche and you want to brand it as your own software/solution. Your customers are no longer logging in on a Plate domain but on your own domain. Read the story of our customer Your Research who develops no-code research (multi)websites on its own white label domain.
Custom styling configurations
With Plate Multi Site we make it possible to change deep technical settings no-code. The result is that you can almost build custom websites from a corporate identity perspective hence using the same technical setup as all the other websites. For example:
- Setting different fonts,
- Deviating within the structure of the homepage, for example,
- Excluding or not excluding certain page types,
- Influencing design or styling.
As advanced multisite CMS these settings are to modify or activate no-code, so without technical knowledge. This ensures more speed in your multisite project because the business does not have to wait for development time and you save on development costs. Below you can see some examples of our client 4M who uses a complex multisite structure with a lot of no-code settings to get a different look for each label. All the UI-UX changes can be done no-code.
